Rooibos / Red Bush Tea
Aspalathus linearis
Rooibos contains aspalathin and nothofagin — unique flavonoids found nowhere else in nature — that show anti-carcinogenic effects, reduce oxidative stress, and inhibit cancer cell proliferation. Unlike green tea, rooibos is completely caffeine-free making it ideal for cancer patients with sleep issues. South African studies show rooibos reduces liver cancer-promoting enzymes.
