Lemon Balm
Melissa officinalis
Rosmarinic acid and luteolin from lemon balm show anti-tumour activity against colon, breast, and lymphoma cells. Importantly, lemon balm powerfully reduces anxiety, insomnia, and depression — critical quality-of-life concerns for cancer patients. It also has antiviral activity against herpes simplex, highly relevant for immunocompromised patients.
