Milk Thistle
Silybum marianum
Silymarin (silibinin) is the most important herb for cancer patients on chemotherapy. It protects the liver from chemotherapy-induced toxicity, supports drug detoxification, and shows direct anti-tumour effects against prostate, breast, and colon cancers. Clinical studies confirm reduced liver enzyme elevation from chemotherapy.
