Echinacea / Purple Coneflower
Echinacea purpurea
Echinacea stimulates macrophage and NK cell activity through its arabinogalactan and alkylamide content. Clinical studies show it reduces the duration and severity of infections — a major concern for immunocompromised cancer patients. Echinacea's immunostimulatory effects may also directly support anti-tumour immune surveillance.
