Cranberry
Vaccinium macrocarpon
Cranberry proanthocyanidins (PACs) and ursolic acid show anti-tumour activity against prostate, colon, breast, and ovarian cancers. PACs uniquely prevent bacterial adhesion to cells, important for UTI prevention in catheterised cancer patients. They also reduce cancer cell migration and invasion.
