Astaxanthin / Haematococcus Algae
Haematococcus pluvialis
Astaxanthin is the most potent antioxidant known — 6000x stronger than vitamin C, 800x stronger than CoQ10. From microalgae Haematococcus, it crosses the blood-brain barrier, protects against radiation-induced DNA damage, and shows anti-tumour activity against colon, breast, and bladder cancers. It specifically protects mitochondrial membranes during oxidative stress from cancer treatment.
