Sweet Annie / Qing Hao
Artemisia annua (whole herb)
Artemisinin (from Artemisia annua) is a Nobel Prize-winning antimalarial that has extraordinary anti-cancer activity — 100–1000x more toxic to cancer cells than normal cells through preferential iron-activated free radical generation in cancer cells. Over 1000 peer-reviewed papers document anti-cancer activity across virtually every cancer type. Taken with iron, its anti-cancer effect dramatically increases.
